idle adjustment

trying to find the adjustment screw on my '98 dodge I have seen the diagrams for the 12v but I have a 24v. the truck dies at idle when the air is on and the engine is hot. in the past an idle adjustment is all it needed. thanks matt

No idle adjustment on a 24 valve, it's controlled by the ECM.

You're going to have to look for the bad sensor. It could be a crank sensor, cam sensor, or somethign else. The first thing you should do is check the codes. Your mechanic can do it, or Auto Zone will do it for free.

Yep, messing with the idle screw on almost anything controlled by the ECM is Verboten, you must have a bad sensor as stated above, get the codes read and it should be an easy fix.
