Idle speed adjustment?

My company vehicule is a 98 12v 2500. When I run the a/c it will stall when I come to a stop. Is there an idle speed adjustment? It is only idling about 600rpm in gear. Truck runs fine other than that. thanks Tim

Tim ...

Yes ... is this an auto? If so, 750 is the idle speed in gear with the A/C on ... 600 is too low ... look ) really feel ... the back of the pump where the linkage rotates ... you will feel a bolt with a jam nut on it ... loosen the jam nut and turn the bolt to adjust your idle ... call me if you need help ... 573-265-5595

Keith
