I want a built transmission

My trruck is going on 110k miles and with the mods I have done the transmission slips and I want to get a nice strong one that will last me as long as my engine will.

With that said I plan on running a larger turbo, injectors and better flowing Vp. I am looking for a 500hp range. So I need something that will work at that power. But is not going to cost me a arm and a leg.

I have a while to look around I am stationed without my truck down in Missisippi right now. So plenty of time to shop.

What would you all recommend? I want a complete package Tq converter as well as trans.

Should I look into a lock switch for a the converter?

Do it right the first time. Do not cut corners on this and get a full high performance rebuild. That way its done. JMO

Dave Goerend has taken good care of me!
My high dollar Sun Coast (full billet trans and converter)failed after 8 months. No drag strips and no truck pulls. Oh yea no warranty either.
Good luck,
Topper

HTS, Goerend or DTT. I wouldn't touch anything else.

The last thing you want to do is know if you had just done it right the first time, you wouldn't have a busted trans.

I would be totally honest with Goerend and let him tell you what to buy.

x2 on suncoast. I got everything they can do except for the intermediate shaft and output shaft; they're stock. over 50k on it, 3 pulls, much road racing and slight towing. Been good to me. I'd say suncoast, Dave Goerand, or DTT. Pick your poison they'll all cost a lot.
