I'm tired of my truck dripping on my nice driveway. I saw a picture of a truck somewhere (cummins forum maybe?) that had some kind of filter in the valve cover where the oil cap screws in. Can't seem to find any info on this. If I found something like this would I be able to use this instead of the puke bottle?

 

Could I maybe just spin the piece on the front cover to point up, extend the tube a couple of inches and put a small filter on it? Not sure if that would work or not?

 

Im sure you can get oil catch can for it. That's my plan when I get extra time/money

 

I ran a hose to bottom of a quart can mounted in front of battery. Put some wire mesh in can and ran a vent hose from top of can to side of oil pan. Catch can catches oil, no drip. Also put small bleed hose in bottom to drain accumulated oil.
