Question How much does the ...

Crankshaft wiegh? I thought I remember seeing here that the crank wieghed in the nieghborhood of 175 lbs. Is that about right or am I off?

I think your right about the weight of the crankshaft...

It took two guys to install the crank in a 1st gen engine. Those cranks are not light by no means! Good thing some of use produce a lot of foot/pounds of TQ!

Well I looked this up in my ISB Troubleshooting /Repair manual and all it said was that it was at or over 50 lbs so i opened up my 94 6bt book and it lists the crank at 80# for the 4b and 123# for the 6b hope this hepls

3kraker...
took 200 + of them (PSD) apart (bad) at Int'l and lifted every one of them. Got larger t shirts now haha......and distaine for PSD.
