when I was looking for a dodge 2nd gen. there was an issue going around where there was a stutter around 50mph, the issue was related to some kind of effect of the alternator wire. I do know that my truck has a filter installed that is suppose to resolve the issue and it came with the transmission from DTT I believe they have them available. others have taken aluminum foil to rap the charge wire from the alt. if I recal. worth checking into. I did drive a truck when looking for one that did this stuttering at around 50 mph.

Hey Guys does anyone know what the fix was for fancis212? I am having the exact problems. I have a 2001 cummins with a 6 speed. Over Christmas my ECM died on me and after they replaced it, the truck ran great for 300 miles and know I am having the same problems as francis212. Could my ECM be bad again or could it be some other connection problem?
