My hydraulics are very good because the pedal is nice and firm and they'll lock the tires at 70mph with no issues what so ever. The only time they ever went to the floor were those two times. I'm thinking it's a sensor up front also but those little suckers are $70/sensor.

You said that you've replaced one of the front sensors already. The other one might be bad as well. It might be worth the scan fee to find out for sure which one is really bad.

Also have you thought about a bad stoplight switch?

Try a FSM. I got one, and helps on the difficult to diagnosis problems.

Got one. Not helping in this instance.

A little update on this. I replaced the rear sensor again and now the lights will flash on and off and stay off until I accelerate to about 10-15mph then they will come back on. If I hit the brakes while they are off you can sorta feel the ABS kicking in. Sometimes while I'm driving they will flash on and off. I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow cause this is getting old.

Blue does the cruise control work when the light is on? I had a bad spot in wiring going down to the rear speed sensor, when brake light would come on cruise control dropped out light would go off and i could reset cc again. hope this helps.

I had a dakota with the same problem as yours, it ended up being one of the front ABS sensors was destroyed. Everything worked perfect once I replaced that sensor.

I thinks its tied to the "Truck is now out of warranty, something needs to break" sensor
I mean, it happened at 100,000.0 miles right?
