Help me guys....
Put about 2-3 PSI in the fuel tank and check the fuel lines for leaks. Most of all the fuel lines on a stock truck are suction lines. So you'll never see a wet spot leak in this system... What it does is draw air in the lines and allows it to drain back out...
So with the pressure in the tank your putting pressure on all the lines and seals (O-Rings)... Now you'll see a wet spot or might find fuel spraying out of something... Fuel Heater, Filter lid, Water Drain valve, snap lock connections... Etc. These are common leak spots...

This maybe a dumb question, but how can I put pressure in the fuel tank?
Also BB my truck was doing this before I installed the injectors and I have since taken out my stockers, put in some stockers and again pullled the stockers and put some 150s in.....
Take a blow gun and rap a rag around it firmly and insert into the filler neck of the tank. Make sure you turn your regulator way down to 2-3 PSI. Now push the trigger and hold it. Yes this requires two people to work.
As a matter of fact this is how I pressure test all my radiator for leaks... Works good!

Well since I do not have a compressor this might be defficult...
I should be able to got to my buddies shop next week. I'm leaving on thursday to go to the Ga vs. Fla game and then I have a test next tuesday.
So maybe I can check it out next wednesday. The truck will be sitting up all weekend.
So I just pressurize the tank and look/listen for leaks correct? Where are the suction lines at? Sorry for all the newb questions.....

Dave,
If at all possible you need the check the fuel sending unit on top of the tank. The lines rust where they come out of the tank, and if that is what is happened you will draw air, and a hard start. I had to have mine replaced due to rusting out. HTH.

Well guys I still have the hardstart. I loosened everything up on my fuel system and retightened. Also I took the fuel filter canister out and checked the seals, but they looked fine. Oh and I checked the lines going into the top of the tank and all was good, but I sill am going to order the Draw Straw soon. SOOOO I guess it's my VP.
I'll be ordering one soon so will see what happens.

I forgot to check the return line for cracks, but is there any specific place that would crack before another? I'm looking at a diagram in my Hanes manual and how am I supposed to check the line that is coming out from the rear of the block? I mean that sucker is back there.
The return line looked fine, but my #6 injector was leaking. I tightened it up and it's still got the hard start.
I guess I will be changing an injection pump out this week.................................
Any tips on the install?
