I goofed and took the throttle pressure adjusting screw out of my valve body. The shop manual describes a special tool to reset it. Anyone know the dimension of the tool? It bottoms out the valve and then you tighten the screw so it just touches the tool.

 

I don;t know the tool dimension, you might try one of the tranny shops.

I would bet that you are going to need a pressure gauge to get it right.

In case anyon else ever runs into this...I called Transgo and he suggested that I set the underside of the head of the throttle pressure screw 0.920 above the bracket. I did and it works fine.

 

The tool is .625 inches long. I found a barrel bearing the right length and welded a rod to it.
