have a 2001 cummins just lately its hard to turn right WHILE moving. the truck turns right to left fine when its not moving. but going down a road at about 30+ the steering wheel gets real hard to turn to the right.. only the right. left works fine. the steering wheel sticks to. its like when you tighten down a bottle cap real tight and you try to take it off its a little stuck? best way i can describe it. i dont think it would be power steering box cause it works fine while sitting its only while moving. could this be ball joints? tie rods ext?

 

I had a bent steering stabilizer on my toyota that did something like that if you could disconnect it an test it that might be a possibility.

 

Today I got in my truck took the gf to work and now it's not doing it.. I'm guessing the steering box? Maybe I should wait a little and see if it does it again

 

Inspect all the steering components, jack it up and shake the tires, turn the tires and feel for grinding, you may have a bad u-joint in the steering axles...
