had my lift pump replaced today.

ive heard from a few people that when the lift pump goes bad the injection pump isn't far behind. is this true? i cought the problem early according to the dealer. they hooked the analyzer to it and said the pump was fine.

If the truck you are talking about is the one in your sig, then I wouldn't worry too much. The trouble is mainly with the electronic injector pumps, yours is mechanical and WAY more dependable.

Also look for white smoke while warming up, and surging during any given time of operation. I don't know how long you have had the truck to be able to compare, but worse fuel economy is also a warning sign.

You really should have a fuel pressure gauge on there so you can monitor what is going on under the hood.
