ok,,, i took the truck in and had the tranny rebuilt at AAMCO in columbia mo,, second gear was slippin as it was goin into it and third was gettin funky too,,, now the truck has a billet TC, shift kit, and etc,, i drove it yesterday after pickin it up,, and it seemed fine in city drivin,, gettin ahead of traffic,, but around home, in the country,, i pull away from a stopsign easy and its still doin the second gear slip
what else can i have them look at,,, i don't know diddly about trannys,,,
i'm kinda POed about this,,, spendin almost 3k to get it done and its not done right

i'm thinking it's probably a control module causing the problem and not the tranny. good luck

 

had a friend who worked for aamco stands for "all automatics must come out!!!" beware of them...
