I put on a new VP44 on my 98, after about a month (little driving) the go pedal doesnt work anymore. it moves freely, it moves the APPS freely. just the engine wont rev at all! after restarting the truck several times it will work again, like normal. what could the problem be?
I already put on another APPS, and put dielectric grease on the connection and on the vp44 connector pins. Still no success!

Truck is completly stock, except for an extra carter lift pump on the frame!

 

did you check for codes? sounds like a P0216 to me.

i reset the Apps, and it seemes to have fixed it!

just i have a problem, that the truck wont start up right away, if i turn the key over and crank, i first have to put the ignition key to on, then wait about 5 seconds till the WAIT TO START light comes on, then it will crank.

it an electronic proble, theres a delay, from when i put the key on, till it will actually turn the vp44 on
