gettin the air out

last thurs i changed my injectors again, and i must of messed up one of the seals on the injector tube(between the injector and the fuel line) and i had a problem with the fuel leakin off, so i fixed that and the past 2 days it's still had air in the fuel system, the filter is the higest point in the fuel system so the air should all colect there after it sits awhile, right?

today i had to run to town and do some stuff so i let the truck run the whole time and every time i stpoed id crack the test port in the fuel filter and let the air(and fuel) buble out and after i got home i shut it off and did it again, and it's just gettin on my nerves, im afraid to let it set for more that 3or4hrs at a time, cause of it. but i think ive got it fixed now, all im gettin is fuel

has anybody else had this problem?

No, the fuel filter is not the highest point of the system. The injector pump and high pressure lines are the highest point. I'd hate to say it but you still have a leak/seal issue. Once the engine starts and runs the air is purged out if there was air in the lines, and will stay that way until you open the fuel system again (maintenance/filters). If you're system is letting in air every time you shutdown them you still have problems.
