I want to buy a gear splitter for my truck. I want the overdrive unit. Does anyone know where the cheapest place to buy one is? Thanks

 

Try a search on gearvendor and gearmaster. I believe they both make one. Are you looking to improve mpg? Because you would have to drive a LONG way to pay for the thousands they cost.

 

Another option might be usgear. There splitter will work with yor exhaust brake and is compatible with a 4x4 . The gearvendor works like an automatic and does not like an exhaust brake, just like an auto trans. it will not split gears in 4x4 because of the installed location. One installs before the transfer case, the other after. Both products seem very well built and are quite pricey. Lots of info on their web sites. <br><br><br> rob
