Gauges
Boost should get no higher than about 19 psi stock and EGT's can get as high as you let them depending on how you drive. Thats why its such an important gauge. The maximum "sustained" EGT you ever want to allow is 1250*. Quick bursts of a little more are acceptable but never sustained. The real maximum EGT from Cummins is 1350* but anyone who trusts their gauge to be anywhere as accurate as the extremely high dollar equipment Cummins uses would be risking their engine, which is why 1250* is the maximum everyone uses.
