Fuel pressure(please advise)

I bought a electric fuel Guage put it on 02 dodge.fuel pressure was reading 5lbs.Bought a lift pump put it on and fuel pressure went to 30lbs. at idle and 15 lbs. pulling with full load.Worked great for 1 month, then fuel pressure is acting up.In the first start up of day acts iratic (jumping)around 5to 15.Drive it a little and then stop it will start going to 30 at idle when engine gets warm.Take off with load behind or not and Most times it is around 5 and 2lbs. with full load. Let off throttle a little pulling and it will jump up to 10lbs.Come to stop light and it will go back to 30 idling.I put another lift pump on got the same exact results(Guage jumping alot).I am not under standing whats going on.Please help don't need to burn up injector pump.

electric senders fail as well, did you put a snubber before the sender?
is the sender screwed directly into the VP?
Double check your fuel pressure with a mechanical gauge
I believe that 30psi on a stock replacement pump would be **** near impossible.... or the sender/gauge is faulty...or the LP is faulty to be putting out 30psi!!!!!

I do not have a snubber if it is a isolation valve to sender, but worked good for a month with a reading of 30 at idle and could only pull it down to 15.I do have a edge box on it.Smoke does boil between ever gear still, that I can best tell. But guage pulls down to almost nothing.I think fuel is ok but still can't be for sure never misses or is never hard to start. Now fuel filter was changed before I made warranty give me another one.Didn't fix problem, put new lift pump on same symptoms.Fuel sender is screwed in to the Banjo bolt area where a pressure check stem use to be.

so if you changed the LP and still no pressure its likely a bad sender, From what I've read senders dont last long when screwed directly into the VP, hook up a small piece of rubber fuel line instal a needle valve and then hook your sender to that. the rubber fuel line will keep the engine vibrations from hurting the sender and the needle valve will keep the fuel pulses from killing the fuel sender. Your sender will last longer with the needle valve, just barely cracked open

The specs on the Airtex pump list aprox 18 to 20 psi. If you were reading 30 either your guage is bad or something in the pump is wrong. I would get a mechanical guage on it and dump the electric.
