Question Fuel Pressure Help

It's time for a new LP and I'm not sure what to do. I can only afford to spend around $150 so the FASS is out of the question. I thought about just replacing it with another stock LP and taking my chances and seeing if it will last me a couple more years becuase I don't know if I will even own the truck then. I also thought about buying a pusher pump from EEP but I have heard mixed things. First I hear it works and fixes it then I hear it works for a while but if your LP is bad now you need a new one of those too so we're looking at $300 or more and then I would get the FASS. Now my LP isnt completely shot but its close. Here are my readings:

Idle: 9psi
Cruising: 6psi
WOT: 2psi

So yeah it's pretty much shot. So for the money what should I do? Also wasn't there somplace online that had stock LP's fairly cheap? I like the idea of a push pump but don't like the idea of having to do that AND a stock LP and plus I was reading and it can be kind of tricky to install. I'm open to all ideas, providing that I can afford it! Now I know you have all read a thousand posts like this but I just wanted some specific suggestions for my situation. Sorry for the repeated and dragged on topic. Thanks guys

You can get a stock lift pump for $150 to $175. For your situation I would go with the stock set up. I use it with a fuel pressure gauge and it will last for a good while. I believe that cummins offers a one year warrenty on thiers.

Pusher pump is the way to go. I haven't seem many FASS systems for below $500. You will need to replace the stock unit though.

In the tech facts it says the correct Cummins part number for my truck is 3390082. Wont a cummins pump part # 3390105 work also?

I just replaced mine and, yes, the 3390105 is the replacement for the 3390082. They no longer make the 3390082.
