fuel pressure
Welcome to DTR!
That's pretty good, if you're running the stock lift pump. Mine never got over about 12.
Why don't you fill out your signature so we'll know a little more about your truck.

I have had 2 OEM lift pumps they both showed 16psi at idle. I can get it down to 10psi or so at WOT. When the first pump started to fail at 80k miles the idle preshure droped to 10psi and I could get it to 0psi under light acceleration.

What vehicle do you have?
(if you fill in your signature, it will show up in the posts so you won't have to keep answering that question, it's in "User CP".

I'm hopefully getting a fuel pressure gauge installed next week. Where is the best place to put it? The mechanic told me that they install them at the LP itself. What kind of pressure should I be seeing? Does WOT stand for WIDE OPEN THROTAL?
The gage needs to be mounted DOWN stream from the fuel filter. Otherwise, you are not monitoring your filter.
Yes on the WOT.
LP pressures vary, but should be around 15/19 at idle and no less than 7/10 at WOT....at least that's what most folks say.
