fuel milage!
what is everyone running on fuel milage on there 24 valves? i know alot of u are running high performacne stuff and towing. And from what i hear from alot of people there getting anywhere from 15 to 22 miles. i bought my truck in august and i just drive it on the weekends when i do drive it its all highway miles but i do like to race from light to light if theres another furd or cheby so i know my fuel mileage would be bad but the last 2 weeks i have driven it every day 50 miles a day. and i have not been mashin the pedal at all and my fuel light is on and i only have 350 miles on the tank of fuel. so that is like 10 miles a gallon! whats going on? i put a new iat sensor in cause i heard that it might help on the fuel milage abit. and all i have done was put the 275 injectors in and i thought they were supposed to make it better which it has alot but not on fuel milage. does anyone have any input on this?

I'm stock on a 2001.5, 5 speed, and at 55 MPH I get 19 to 20 with a high of 22. At 70 to 75MPH I drop to around 16.5. I have 315-75-16s on the truck. I drive 42 miles each way over mountains to get to work. I usually get 99 MPG on the way down. ;D ;D

Re:fuel milage!
well I was getting 21 mpg this summer, droped back to 17 mpg when winter hit(115km/hr cruise) ......

but I just got a set of rv275's and a comp put in, the old injectors were pretty carboned up .......

mileage jumped up to 22mpg, so I expect 25mpg this summer and don't see why 28 wouldn't be possible if I stayed at 100km/hr)

remember the canadian gallon is larger than an american gallon so 28mpg cad = about 24mpg american

16 mpg running empty, 10-11 pulling 12,000 5th wheel
and 13 average around town emtpy. 1999 4 x 4 automatic
3500 215-85-16 tires. The best was about 17 mpg freeway
full trips. You surely don't believe the overhead readings.
My bell go off for fuel about 28 gallons. Have run the
reading overhead to 0 miles to go. About 31 to refill.
Hope this helps. I'm right at 99,500 miles.
Fully stock.
