when I go over 60 or so mph i can feel the right front wheel viberate pretty bad at times does anybody know where i can start looking?

Sounds like the track bar. My '95 2500 4X4 did the same thing. It's a common failure. The last one I replaced was about $70 through NAPA.

If you are certain it is only coming from the one side, a tie rod end could be bad in conjunction with the track bar, but the track bar will be the main cause. Search "death wobble" and you will find a catalog of similar shakes reported by Dodge owners. It is probably the most common part failure in the 4X4 front end for these trucks. Visually, the part will look good, but hitting a bump at highway speed will cause the "death wobble" to start. It won't go away until you slow back down, usually. It can be quite un-nerving when you're pulling a trailer.

im not sure this is a deth wobble from what i read it does it when i hit 60mhp no matter what i dont have to hit a bump or anything it just does it every time

If it is solely a speed issue and is only the right front, you have a tire that is not properly balanced or a tread that is starting to separate. Take it to a tire shop and have the balance checked. At the same time, observe the tire spinning on the balancer. If the tread is separating, you will be able to see the outer edge (the tread) "hop" as it begins to speed up or slow down while it spins.

But also check out your front end parts while your there. Visually inspect everything and have someone turn the wheel while your in the truck. Back and forth.. It could be more than just one thing.

 

just incase anybody else comes accross this problem i found out what was making my front end viborate....it was my front drive shaft...the u-joints were all bad..i took the front drive shaft off for now and all the little pins fell out of one of the u-joints..only 85k but i guess nothing lasts forever

 

That seems odd that just the right front tire was vibrating from a bad u-joint in the drive shaft.

Did you check the rim to see if you have thrown any wheel weights off?

How are your tires wearing? Cupping is a sign of a bad shock or possibly a lower ball joint which leads to trac bar and tie rod end failings.

Were you in 4 wheel drive? My front driveshaft doesn't turn unless I am in 4x4. If your truck has the later 4x4 system it may though.
