front end noise
Hi, I have a 2000 4x4 reg. cab, during off chamber bumps or dips in the road I hear a loud crack or poping noise on the drives side. I have recently replace the shocks with bilistiens and the stablizer shock. What needs relaced now? thanks
I would suggest either a balljoint, tierod end, or track bar ball joint on driver frame. Easy way to check, jack driverside up and wiggle the wheel back and forth, to check the tierod ends, or both hands on bottom and try to pick the wheel up, to check balljoints. If no movement that way, put the truck back on the ground, get someone to help you, have them start the truck and turn the wheel back and forth quickly while you look under the truck at all the mentioned parts above. You should see something moving that shouldnt.

Thanks for your reply, the ball joints were checked recently they are ok. I'm thinking swaybar, but I'm not sure. If anyone has other thoughts I would appereciate it. stock659
