Front Axle Question
Front Axle Question
I replaced my CAD Vacuum motor last week. The one that was in it had a bent shaft. I also replaced the worn out shift fork. The was hardly anything left of the fork. My question is, is there a spacer that holds the passenger outer axle centered in the axle tube? It moves around quite a bit right now. It looks like the passenger inner axle has some sort of spacer to hold it centered. If there is one, can it be replaced without removing the axle?
Thanks
Thanks
There is a intermediate shaft support bearing and a combination pilot bearing/spacer where the two shafts but togeather. I suspect that is whay you wore the fork and twisted the shaft. Look here.
