Ok, what should i be considering a safe fuel pressure, 15ish?
Also, has anyone had any experience or know anything about Desert Autoplex?

If you're going to the trouble of hooking up a temporary FP gauge you can get a 36" grease gun extension (they have 1/8" IPS threads), a snubber, and run the gauge up to your windshield near the wiper. Wrap the outside diameter of the gauge with some weatherstripping and black tape to hold it on and you'll be able to see it as you're driving. May have to shine your flashlight on it once in a while at night, but you'll know the true story!

A stock lift pump should be near 15# at idle, but if you're above 8-9 lbs going down the road you're fine.
