it is located in the trans cooler outlet presure line-it(drain valve) has a barbed fiting on one end and a flare on the other. an arrow shows flow direction.

thats the book instructions, however i went out to find it my self-nada. i searched every inch of line and nothing. every thing is stock related to trans so if its there, it is not the same as book describes.... how bad is your valve loosing psi? if it takes a few days i belive thats the norm iirc (mine drains back after about 3-5 days).

I believe the part you are looking for is in the cooler at the front of your truck. As fluid enters the cooler it is either alowwed through the cooler because the valve is open of is diverted through a single tube and not allowed through the entire cooling circuit of the cooler. The reason they were unable to to find the part you are looking for is because it is an integral part of another and can not be purchased seperatly.

It's on the heat exchanger on the pass side of the block behind the turbo the left fitting is the one with the check valve. I took mine out and just used a 1/2"npt x 1/2" tube stainless compression fitting.
