which fass?

ok, got a new vp and fp is a little low with my stanadyne set up, i have been told to get the 150/95 fass set up, but looked around and they now have a few other options that might work for me and be a little cheaper than the 150/95

all my mods are listed in my sig and this isnt a hot rod rig, i use it to tow my rock crawler rig, probably around 10k at max and the edge ez chip is on 3(65hp over stock) everything else is stock except exhaust
could i get away with a platinum instead? looks the same minus the other filter
what would you all do?
and where would be the cheapest place to purchase one of these set ups?
i have searched the net a little and all the 150/95's are over $600 now, ouch, platinums are $400ish
for just a little more money would a mechanical set up be better?

I've had good service our of AirDog but have had it < 40,000 mi. Go with something where you can easily get filters. Fleetguard fits the AD.

There was a mechanical thread that looked interesting. Not sure where but no electronics would be nice - especially if you could pick your pressure.

No more mods than you have I'd go with a DDRP2. I bought mine from the DTR store and the price was the same as anywhere else plus I was able to support the site.

i dont want the stock filters, to expensive and have to be changed too often, the fass filters have a longer life and will save some coin in the long run, my stock lift is gone already and i have a pump on the frame so going back to the stock type plumbing and set up probably isnt going to be easy as some of those stock parts are gone and i dont want to have to find any of that stuff, i want to install a complete system and be done with this
not going air dog either, i'm sure it works fine but...

what would a non filtered fass pump do with just the oem filter? would that be enough filter etc... might be a good option for me as i can unbolt the stanadyne and plumb the fass right in to that spot again, my pump is right in front of the tank and it has one 30 micron filter and then onto the oem filter housing, then i only buy oem filters and not all these high doller things for all these other pumps, these stanadyne filters cost up to $20 each and they get changed everytime the oem does, so it's $30 -$35 bucks each time about every third oil change is about what i've been doing

I have my DDRP on the framerail in front of the tank and only use the stock filtration and have never had any problems. The DDRP comes with a screen filter for the inlet side but I couldn't figure out how to it worked because I'm not using stock banjos. I just run good fuel from stores that sell a lot and haven't had any problems. I've thought about putting a filter before the pump but I've got too many irons in the fire right now to be looking for extra projects.

been looking at this same setup, i am leaning more toward the fuel boss mechanical at this point thoughand keep my stanadyne fp/filter and stock filter, that way i have 2 good filters etc... and will never go down no matter if either set up goes south, it is cheaper than a fass set up and i can plumb it right into my current set up with out too much problem, i will be done for a long time with this set up i believe, i am at the same point as well with too many thing to work on and i want this done forever for the most part
