Truck showing 370 code just looking for some help on exacty what causes this code and were to start to fix the problem with this code. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well the truck is a 01 2500 2wd automatic cummings. And the list on the site here says it is a timing problem. Any more help?

the only timing you have that would throw a code is related to the vp44 injection pump. how does it run?

 

Welll today it started right up and run fine for about twenty minutes, but it hadn't been started fro two and a half weeks. Then after I shut it off and went to re start it all it would do is start up and die. I have been thinking it was the injection pump, but wanted to make sure before diving into it. I'm new to then diesel world. Is there any way to fix the timing problem, or is the pump done for. Thanks for the help.
