I've heard it's possible to retrofit one from another application for some big bucks...the factory clutch is pretty good at what it does--why do you want to switch?

I think it running more than it should. I thought a seen one years ago on a dodge. It would be nice not to have it running and sucking power and fuel.

Horton used to offer a retrofit fan clutch for our trucks that worked great but was very pricey (like $900!).

They decided not to continue supporting the Dodge application in 2002. But guys have made them work.

that is a little much for a fan clutch. probably why no longer being offered.

I tool the fan off and drove it today. I seems better. More power. running a little less boost going down the road. Mybe it made a difference.

That fan sucks quite a few ponies, no doubt. I was runnin hard up through the gears one day when the serp belt snapped--it felt like a nitrous hit! My concern in your case is why the fan is running more than it should..perhaps your overflow bottle has gummed up the radiator?

radiator is clean. I cleaned all the bugs out of it this summer. I pulled it out and power washed and clean inside best I chould, not because i had a problem but just to do it. I think the radiator wieght alot less going in than coming out.
