Dorman Vacuum actuator question

I noticed the Dorman actuator only has one retaining clip on the shaft unlike the stock actuator that has two clips. I am not sure I unstalled it correctly, Can comeone tell me if the fork should be before or after teh retaining clip groove?

You will have to use one of your old clips. You need a clip on each side of the fork. I just did one today.
