Dead truck

I have a 99 2500 with 77,000 miles. I was driving it and it died. Now the engine turns over fine but wont start. Never had any problem with it til now. Someone said it could be the lifter pump. IS this covered under warrenty? Any help would be great.

RICK

Re:Dead truck

Could be the lift pump, or the injection pump, or both.
The fuel pressure needs to be checked first.

Did you recently add a "Performance Box" that pierces the pump wire?

Ed

Re:Dead truck

You may have a leak in one of your lines that allowed some air to get into the lines and air lock the engine. Check for any leaks or any loose connections.
