DDRP crisis!

I am posting from a phone so excuse the brevity please.
01 24v HO and wanted to shore up the vp44 with a ddrp.... Didn't need anything for more HP. Pulled the starter and removed banjo from filter housing and realized there is no stock transfer pump in place! Duh! Bought with 65,000, now has 105,000. Previous owner/dealer did something, but I can't find anything other than stock lines ect. anywhere!

Do u guys think there is an in tank pump? How do I confirm? Can/should I still install the ddrp?
Very confused and not that knowledgeable with gen2 fuel systems and upgrades. Thanks.

Yeah you've got the intank lp.

There should be a sticker on the radiator frame under the hood saying the fuel system was altered if a dealer did it.

I do not think you can draw fuel thru the intank lp. I am pretty sure you need to get a draw straw or other fuel tube for the tank.

You could follow the lines back to the tank to know that you have it tank pump. You could measure pressure with a gauge to know that you have pressure (or not).

The 01 FSM is on pdftown & even has diagrams of stock pump.

Thanks for the replies! No sticker to be found and all lines appear to be stock back to tank. I will call dealership tomorrow, give them my VIN, and they should be able to access any warranty work done to tell for sure.
There has to be an in tanker, cause it's nowhere else and it's been runnin like a top since I've owned her.
Once confirmed, what should my next step be? Can I run the ddrp in stock location with a Vulcan draw staw or on the rail by the tank? I'm up for any recommendations out there. I can have her up and going in an hour or so, but want to ensure life of the VP in the long run!
Thanks

They move the lp's to the frame rail for two reasons:
1. Less, a lot less vibration from the engine

2. Its better on the pump to push fuel rather than pull it.

When I do mine its going on the frame rail back by the tank.

DDRP-where to now?

So....of course there is an in-tank LP. Talked to the boys at FASS and they tell me I can mount the DDRP in the stock location, but will need to drop the tank and add a draw straw. Got it. Thinking I will go with the Vulcan Draw Straw 5 in the event I want to upgrade later to more HP requiring more fuel. Is this a solid assessment?

Next. I buy the VDS5 and drop the tank. Keep the in-tank LP in position and install the VDS5 with no drilling needed??? With the DDRP in stock location, where do I get the fuel line from to connect to the draw straw? Pull it off the in-tank pump inlet/outlet? and connect to the VDS5, or should I run a new line the length of the rail to the DDRP and chunck the stock line currently running to banjo hanging on my empty stock LP bracket?

Does this sound right and are there any other considerations I need to think about while doing this operation.

Sorry for all the questions, but after searching all the threads cant come up with a straight answer as how to fix my issue here....and have to drive this thing to Kansas shortly to chase after some big-boddied corn fed deer.

Thanks

Stew

Personally, I'd pull the bed vice drop the tank. I did one on your same truck year, I have some pics if you would like them.
