Very interesting! I wonder if they can make it available on a single user based size? Kind of like the biodiesel preccessors we're seeing for sale now. There still has to be some waste, but being all natural, it could be used just like compost material I would think.

Algae? Mine doesn't sit long enough to need to worry about that! I burn plenty of fuel!

I doubt that...UV and heat will destroy any bacteria outside.

Oil Companys Will Never Allow It To Happen-
Do You Realise That Every General Motors Car &dont Know First Hand About Ford And Chrysler- But Every General Motors Car & Truck Is Started And Ran On A Test Stand In The Factory Before Its Put In To A Car- Oh And They Are Run On Natural Gas- The Same Thing You Heat Your House With. I Know This Has Been Going Onn Since The 60`s - The Engines Run Great- There Is A Small Amount Of Light Oil Added To The Mixture To Lubercate The Engine.
So Why Arn`t We Running Our Cars On Natural Gas ? Dont Want To Make This Political - But Oil Company Politics

ya know old man, some of the members here work for oil service companies...

We are going to be drilling oil for a long time. Oil (and fuel prices) are driven more by the strength of the US dollar rather than supply and demand.

Any carburated engine can be changed to methane/butane/propane by changing the carb to a gas injection system.
ETA: www.gotpropane.com is the company I have seen on xtreme 4x4

I'm sure the oil companies will make him an offer he can't refuse.

Well Then Frosty Who Is Stopping The Use Of It ?
A Diesil Engine Can Run On Natural Gas - On Diesil Has To Be Run On Multi Fule - Using Any Where From 40 To 60% Diesil But Still Is A Great Savings.
Natural Gas Can Be Compressed &liquified And Put In To Tanks To Be Run In Veicles.
And Yea I`m An Old Man - ( Only Means I Pave Personally Experianced What I`m Talking About.)

people and infrastructure is the biggest hold up.

there is a gasoline station on every corner. retrofitting to a gasified fuel will cost money. its easer to stop and pump in some liquid rather than connect a hose with a pressure tight seal and inject a gas or change out a heavy tank.
People in general are scared of change.
Diesel can run on many fuels with a small amount of diesel to initiate the combustion.
On the other hand, KW is releasing a new truck that is designed to run on LNG. Its reported to have the same performance and same OTR range of a conventional diesel truck.
There are several fleet vehicles that are running gasified fuels. There have been for a long time.
