Dana 80, the same for 4x4 and 4x2?

I screwed up my D70 this afternoon. I'm not sure what's bad since I haven't pulled the cover off yet, but I lost my speed sensor and it's howling really loud.

I was wanting to swap in a D80, I guess now may be the time huh?

I was just wondering if anyone knew if there was a difference between the D80 from a 4 wheel drive and a 2 wheel drive? I would think no, but the junk yards are separating them as such.

4x4 D80 with 4.10s and disc brakes is right around $2000

$2000! It may be worth your time to see what has messed up There should be no difference. The junk yards are probably just doing that to keep up with what vehicles they came off.

Yeah I'm going to tear into it.

I had a slab to pour yesterday and some other yardwork, so I didn't get around to it.
