Cummins\Dodge Warranty

Is the 100K warranty on the motor only good for five years?

Second that!

I wish they did like the ISB in the Class 6 trucks. 5 years, 200,000 miles!

Cummins is responsible for alot of the warranty cost associated with the Dodge ISB engine.

Although, the warranty must be administered through a Dodge dealership.

IF you thought about it a little bit Dodge wants to keep the business of maintenance and engine work in house to help support their dealerships.

This keeps you coming back.

If the warranty was good elsewhere no one would ever go to a Dodge dealership after the truck was sold.

Gentlemen, I fully understand who warrants Dodge trucks. I just find it interesting that the Cummins site says 7 years and they go into the specifics.

What Cummins says won't get your engine fixed at 5 years and 1 day but I'm surprised that they make that mistake.
