Crank positioning sensor
Yesterday the check engine light came on. The truck ran fine with one exception. The torque convertor kept locking and unlocling at 45 mph. This morning the light was off but I took it to the shop that rebuilt the transmission the scanner says that the crank positioning sensor went bad. Later in the day today the light came back on. Does the crank positioning sensor have anything to do with the PCM or the torque converter lock up process.
Here is the low down on the truck. It is a 99 Quad cab with an AFE intake, a 4 inch exhaust, and a juice with attitude. All the vitals look fine. The tranny shop re-routed the wire away from the alternator to stop the RF interference. Any help from you guys is always appreciated.
