Couple of questions??
What is a silencer ring??? is there a cat converter on my 02 like i got rid of in my 94?? I tried to gleen this info of this wep site but to no avail. thanks I use mexican hi sulfur diesel half the year so i don't want to plug up the cat converter thanks

there's no cat, just a resonator. the silencer ring is a ring around the turbo that helps to quiet the whistling. there are no performance gains, but the noise gets louder (especially with an aftermarket filter!).
