Coolant drip

On my 01 Ram I have developed a coolant drip that appears to be coming from a bracket bolt ( bracket holds AC compressor) . I have checked to make sure the drip is not coming from above and running down to bolt . There are 3 bolts holding this bracket in place . I have removed them but bracket won`t move . Is it possible it`s just stuck ( after being in place for 23 years ) or could there be another bolt I haven`t located yet ? I am thinking remove it , clean up and put bolts back in with a thread sealant on them ( I guess they go through a water jacket in block ) . Has anyone delt with this before ? Would appreciate any suggestions on fixing this drip . Thanks , Larry

Up on further investigation it appears this bracket is much larger and includes lower radiator hose connection and I`m not sure what else as I would have to remove a good amount of things just to get room to see what else it would involve . I`m pretty sure the drip is between the bracket and the block on the lower bolt hole . I do not think there is any kind of gasket involved but I could be wrong . Anyone ?

Just as a FYI incase someone encounters the same issue

Well I finally removed enough stuff that I could remove the bracket . The bracket is where the ac compressor bolts to the block and it also is the lower radiator hose connection to the block . It is all a machine finish except where the water enters the block , and there is a 2 3/8 inch flat o ring there , which had somehow began to leak and run down to the lower bolt where it dripped out .Now if I can just find that flat o ring , which I think the thickness would be pretty critical . Probably a dealer item . I hope no one has this happen to them . It`s not extreamly difficult , but you do have to remove quite a bit just to get room to remove it .

Are you sure that this seal is really a "flat" o-ring? In the past have dismantled old stuff and also found what I thought was a flat o-ring, but it turned out that it was originally a regular o-ring that over time lost elasticity and stayed in the flat compressed stage when dismantled.

No I`m not sure and that is a possibility , but it looks to be a flat o ring to me . Maybe the dealer will be able to shed some light on what it is
