ya the dealer told me, my 02 had it already they just turned it on.

Its present on 01.5 and 02's. Its just disabled by default. Thats why even if you get the reflash they still have to turn it on after the flash using the DRBIII tool.

I'll be trying for the 3rd time Friday.
Going to demand that I be present to walk the tech through the procedure.
How hard can it be to follow this:

The DRB III will indicate whether the feature is enabled or disabled.
14. Push 1 to Enable, 2 to Disable.


Tried twice unsuccessfully last winter to get it enabled.

So how would I know if my truck has it with out going to the dealer. Is it really worth having it turned on also? thanks dave

 

I just forgot to plug in one night after I thought it had been enabled.
Started it the next morning and it didn't do what it was supposed to, so I figured it hadn't got done properly.
