co2 cooling EGT's?
I was talking to a guy who uses a nitrous oxide spray tube in front of his aftercooler to get that air temp down. now, he is using it on a gasser drag car.
My idea: how bout a spray tube with co2 in front of an aftercooler on a diesel. My son did some leg work and can get co2 considerably cheaper then NOS. It's not as cool at NOS though. About -20.
Anyone ever tried this? If this works, it will be very cool.

I have a hard time believing it would displace the oxygen since the engine compartment is not air tight. Good advise though. We're going to give it a try.
Anyone else heard of this?

there is a guy that I talked to before that had a 03 mustang cobra with the supercharger. He used this setup and on the dyno it gave in another 45hp. I actually saw the dyno sheet. He actually used bladders around the cold pipe and in the intercooler that when charged filled with co2 and cooled the pipes down. I thought of it, it is a good idea.
