Hey guys this thing is about to drive me nuts. Got some of my problems resolved then on my way back to work tonight it started doing that huckle buck junk. Checked my codes and they were 0743, 0122, 0753, 1765, and 1693 none which appeared in the computer codes wiki. It has started back as you are riding down the road the TC keeps locking in and out. But if I lock up the TC it goes away, don't really know if thats what set my check engine light off? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

 

These codes are actually from a PT Cruiser site - but it's Chrysler and they are almost the same vehicle anyway

I'm thinking that the codes have to be standard....
And by the looks of things, these descriptions seem to go with your problem.


743 Torque converter clutch (part throttle unlock) solenoid circuit problem - shift solenoid C electrical fault
122 Throttle position sensor voltage low
753 Overdrive solenoid control circuit problem (transmission relay circuit in Jeep RE transmissions.)
1765 Open or short in the Transmission Relay control circuit.
1693 The companion engine control module has shown a fault.

0743 TCC Solenoid/Trans Relay Circuits
0122 APPS Signal voltage too low
0753 Trnas 3-4 Shift Solenoid/Trans Relay Circuits
1693 DTC set in PCM or ECM

These are Diesel Ram codes.

It sounds more like a wiring problem. I think the solenoids are on a circuit board attached to the valve body inside thye trans.
