Call me stupid!

a while back we bought a 98 24 valve cab n chasis. for around 6000 bucks.

We never checked fp or anything!

when we bought it, it had ok power! but had a little miss at idle
after a few weeks it lost a little top speed, and power later on we bought a new edge comp and tapped the pump wire.

we used it a total of 10,000 miles, when we finally hooked up a fp gauge, the lift pump did not work at all, 0 psi all the time.

we took off the box, put on a fass (15 psi constant fp)
and sold the truck shorty after that!

we had two green cab & chasis 98's trucks to choose from: one 12 valve another 24 valve. he chose the 24v.

I don't get it. Isn't that a good thing? Besides possibly misleading a buyer...?

or rather.... um call the VP44 not so bad!

(cuz we have a 2001 now, and i keep tellin' my brothers to buy a holley blue, cuz fp drops to 5 psi at WOT) then they say:
the 3500 sucked its own fuel for 10 000 miles

misleading? he chose the 24 valve cuz it was nicer, and cuz it was a long bed! we even had to take off the hub caps off the other and give him those!

he hasnt been back to complain about his vp 44
