if it were my truck i would not run those pistons. take a look at this picture.

the injector is in the center, the small peak if you will helps to distribute fuel evenly throughout the piston, not sure how the spray pattern would look like with a plateau.

The point/small peak in the center of the pistons is fine on all pistons. No chips or anything on the peaks. The only spots that have this light damage I spoke of is on the outer edges of the pistons. On the top flat portion of them. I really could probably easily smooth them out with a dremel with very fine sanding wheel and would really take barely any material away. I will try to get pics tonight and show you what I mean.
