Brake Question

I am having some problems with the brakes on my 2002 2500 with 4 wheel disc brakes. First off the pedal is beginning to feel spongy, and sometimes when you stop as your coasting to a stop all the sudden it feels as if the brakes suddenly begin to just stop at once. I have checked the fluid etc. all the common things, has anyone ever had a similar occurrence? Thanks

Check your calipers. I was having an issue of my left front grabbing in certain situations. Ended up my right front was bad and it never would grab at all. I replaced both and put in Chevy one ton wheel cylinders in back, and now they work great.
