Brake Light Flashing

Today my parking brake/brake light started to flash. (red one) It flashes constantly in a timed fashion. It is not the emergency brake pedal or anything like that. Anyone know what makes this flash? I haven't noticed if there is a separate light for the ABS, I have only had the truck a few days or so.

I bought my '02 yesterday, and before I left the parking lot where I met the seller, I had my wife jump in the truck so I could check all the lights. The brake lights were inop. I noticed the flashing "brake" light on the dash. I found the #6 20 amp fuse under the hood on the drivers side fender was burned out. I moved the #5 20 amp fuse from the hazards, which also controls blinkers, over to the #6 spot until I could get to the auto parts store. It fixed the brake lights, but the "brake" light on the dash would still blink. It would go away as soon as I started driving though.

ETA - I downloaded an '01 FSM last night, and this is what I read.

Park Brake-On - If the park brake is applied
or not fully released with the ignition switch in the
On position, the brake indicator is illuminated solid.
The brake indicator will blink on and off repeatedly
when the park brake is applied or not fully released
and the ignition switch is in the On position if a
vehicle with an automatic transmission is not in
Park or Neutral, or if the engine is running on vehicles
with a manual transmission.

I have spent zero time working on it. All I did was drive the truck about 100 miles home.

I found it, It was the little switch on the park brake pedal. It was a little corroded so I cleaned and lights out!!

Mine had been doing this also. If I released the parking brake weakly, the pedal would be 1 click from fully in the up position, making the brake light blink. A little spray lube on the unit and its good to go.
