batteries and starter
batteries and starter
hey is there a fuse in the line somewhere between the ignition switch and the battery . i've done everything i could new starter new batteries new ignition switch and still can't get the thing to start at the wheel i can jump it from the starter any ideal's. and this is probaly related in some way but my batteries keep dying even though nothing is on maybe dying isn't the right word but they are to low to start it so i have to charge them every 5 times i start it . could this be from jumping it at the starter?.
safety neutral switch (if auto) not sure if standards have a clutch switch or not.
Have you checked your alternator output? maybe you dont have a parasitic drain as much as the alt is not charging.
when you turn the ignition check at the small wire on the starter it should light up when you check it with a test light, if it does not work your way backwards to the ign switch,
Do you have a wiring schematic?

You might check fuses. The big fuse from alternator. And a little fuse for starter relay. Both in power distrubution center, left side of engine compartment.
