Welcome to the website, and thank you for starting a new thread instead of dredging up a years-old one as so many others do...I do not have the information you asked about, but others will be along shortly...In addition it might be helpful in the future to fill out your sigline with details about your truck and any modifications......Ben

Never be sorry for posting a good question, the only stupid questions around here are mine welcome to the forum ...Mark P.S. Did you ever catch that stupid whale?
I created the heatshield in the plans of the pattern provided.
A few things to note= I mounted it using the 3 air cleaner bolts captured in the fender liner and trimmed them down so they didn't eat a hole in the filter.
I had to cut a relief hole for the shock mount bolt
I turned the a/c clip away from the side that almost touched it to keep from pushing it off.
I drilled a hole thru the top of the BHAF and fitted the filter minder in, however, after replacing my filter in 2016 it still hadn't moved into the dirty range...that filter was in for 5 years
I bent mine up out of 5/16 aluminum sheet so it's pretty stout. Maybe I can get a few snaps posted this weekend
I used acorn nuts to fit the shield to the stock airbox bolts, so I did not need to shorten them. (I wanted to be able to go back to stock)
I also used a weather strip to protect my hands and the air hose from the sharp edges of the shield. I used 0.7mm rust free steel, and notched the bend to increase the stiffness. I also glued some heat reflecting insulation to the side facing the exhaust housing.
I was able to find sometime to get this project done between the rain this past Saturday.
The materials were supplied by the county as they were so kind to have a beautiful sheet of aluminium just sitting
on a pole in my front swale.
After making a template out of cardboard I transferred it to supplied gifted metal.
Ater final fitment I painted it with some spray on truck bedliner and sliced a section of fuel line for a final
finishing factor. All in all i am please with the final product, i do however see in the near future adding some sort of added
heat protectant on the shield.
Thank you all for the help.
