Batterys ???
Batterys ???
Where are you getting a batterys that fit the truck . Had a no start, so I go to the race car and pull the batterys and put them in the truck. Thay don't fit and when I went to Autozone thers don't fit the mesurments eather . So what are you using ????
Your truck takes group size 24 batteries. Any autoparts store should carry these, they should be at least 750 CCA. If there is a Batteries Plus store in your area I know they have them.
Hope this helps

Group 34/78 Optimas fit nice and you might be able to make a Group 65 fit (these are used in the third gens I believe).
You can make all sizes of batteries fit if you cut out one side of your battery tray
Auto-Zone has batteries for 2nd generation trucks. They are actually a great deal. 3 year free replacement warranty. http://www.autozone.com/addVehicleId...leSelected.htm
Auto zone for me as well. I get the yellow ones, I don't recall just which ones and it's too wet outside to go look. They have an outstanding warranty and good testing equipment to check them before replacement...
