a friend of mine was helping me change my trans filter and pan and he screwed around with the bands and now it has trouble shifting. it has the right amount of fluid in it no codes being thrown so i can only think it's the bands. i've been reading on the site about the band adjustments and just had a couple of questions. well really one what are all the tools i need to do the adjustment i got the inch pound torque already what other adapters and sockets do i need and where can i get them from.

okay did the band adjustment but have some problems. first i don't know if i back the screw off to much or not enough is this very improtant or not. second from 0 to 40 shifts fine at 40 i have to throw it in neutral then back to drive and sometimes it drops a gear. would this be the front band problem or the rear. no codes still so i assume it's the bands.
