How do you test an intercooler ?
My truck has damage to intercooler. There is just a small area with bent fins and possibly a crack or hole in air passage. I used some epoxy to seal it and appears to be fine but how do you test it ?
I assume just putting air compressor hose on one end while closing other and put pressure to it, right ?
I just don't want to take whole front end off to take it to a shop to check.

First measure your openings. Then look in the plumbing dept. of a Lowes or Home Depot. They carry pipe plugs that inflate and close off open pipes. There are various sizes. There my not be one there that matches perfectly, but those things grow big time wihen you pump them up. They will have one that has a shrader valve on it and a gauge so the pipe can be pressurized for testing.
Just get you a set, install them, and pump them up. I would recomend a bike pump. You don't want to put 100 psi into that thing and split it apart. All you need to know is if it will hold. 10 psi should be enough. Then watch to see of it leaks off.
You might cam make a set from a tractor tube and some clamps. Cut a peice of rubber to cover one opening and use a hose clamp to seal it on, then clamp the other opening with a peice containing the schrader valve over the hole so you can pump it up. Then pump it up till you make the rubber bulge a little bit and see of that holds. This would probably cost less than all the plugs at the plumbigs store.
