I have found engines on the net in Cal for $4500.00 plus shipping,,, I cant afford that,, But any help in finding an engine would be great

Don't lose hope, Bob. He may be out of town for a variety of reasons.
I will begin looking.
How about a burn job? I know where one of those is, but I don't know how much they'd want for it. It seemed to be cooked around the top of the engine, but the turbo boots were still intact, so I guess the fire was that bad there.
